WOTLK Gold Farming Guide – Useful Tips To Farm Gold in WoW

A WOTLK gold farming guide is the best way to get the money you need in WoW fast and easy. Players have always tried all sorts of ways to make the gold they need in the game. But only the most experienced players have managed to find good spots and ways to make some cash. Which they either turned into a gold guide, or just bragged about them on forums and such so everyone found out about them.

When the WOTLK expansion came, I was just getting the hang of making some money in The Burning Crusades content. So it was really annoying. I had to level up my character another ten levels. But I did it and then I needed gold. Knowing what I went through the previous expansions, I just started using a WOTLK gold farming guide. I didn’t want to waste any more time with gold farming.

Using the guide, I got really good at PvE and also PvP. The guide was really good and I started seeing some tips from it. Using those tips, I was able to amass quite a wealth. Here are those tips:

– Don’t bother farming gear and trash loot. Concentrate on getting crystallized elements and other crafting resources. These sell really well on any server out there.

– Make sure you have your inventory empty when going to farm. That way you won’t have to got to sell things every 10 minutes.

– Gather and mine everything you see and can. There are always resources around spots that need to be taken. They bring a very good bonus to your over all profit.

– Get a good PvE fit for your character. Don’t try and invent your own little train. The ones you can find all over the web are the ones you need to use.

– Don’t settle on just one spot. Use as many spots as you can to get a large variety of items. That way you cover more ground and make a lot more money than by killing in one single spot.

– Watch the market and see what items are less. Go farm those and put them for sale for a really high price.

You will see that it is easy to make gold in WoW. These tips will help anyone get an idea of what they need to do to start making gold like the pros do. Now I don’t have to worry about not having gold to buy potions or mounts or any other types of items. So it is up to you. If you want to keep struggling to make money in the game, ignore these tips. If not, then use them. They will help you, even if you are not using a WOTLK gold farming guide.

WOTLK Gold Farming Tips – Amazing Tips That Help You Get Rich In WoW

The WOTLK gold farming tips you are about to see here, will make you farming session a lot more lucrative. I have friends who used to waste hours, each day, farming all the wrong spots and getting all the wrong items. There efforts usually left them still poor. When I saw how bad they were doing, I gave them the same tips that I’m going to share with you here.

Making gold in WoW isn’t all about finding a spot and starting to kill mobs. You need to know a few things prior to starting your farming session. That is, if you want to be successful. My friends tried the easier, random approach and it didn’t work out for them at all.

I always liked to do a few things that made my farming session a lot more lucrative. Once the Wrath of the Lich King expansion was released, I wanted to share them as tips as they work even better there. But I never got round to it, until now. I will show you a few, very useful, WOTLK gold farming tips.

– You first need a capped level character that has strong AoE abilities. I’ve seen people farm with one handed Warriors and Rogues. It is doable, but it is not effective. Make sure your class is trained properly and also that it has good gear on. The best class for this has to be the Death Knight.

– The best items to go for are the crystallized elements. So make sure you find a spot that gives those. Even though most players go after that, they still sell very good and you will make gold. If you don’t need the money right away, hold on to your loot until the prices go up, and then sell.

– Make sure you have Skinning leveled up as it is very useful. Go after mobs that drop other ingredients in addition to Borean leather when you skin them. Such mobs are Drakes in general. You have a greater chance to get Icy Dragonscales, which sell really good.

– You will need to be fast when you farm. Don’t wait for mobs to respawn, go kill something else instead. Doesn’t matter what it is, just don’t wait around when you kill all the mobs around you. Also, always try and kill more mobs at a time. That way you will use the time you have at the maximum.

If you follow those tips, you’ll see that everything will improve. If you can get a Death Knight to farm with, it would be great. A Mage, for instance, isn’t that great as you will kill equal level mobs or a bit lower. So you stand the risk of dying. I hope you will find a use for my WOTLK gold farming tips.

Gold Guide – Discover the Best Farming Locations

Farming can be described as the act of killing one or a few type of monster in an area to earn its gold or loots; this method is considered old fashioned and relatively easy, but it doesn’t mean that you can’t get lots of gold from it. With a good gold farming guide, you’ll know the most profitable locations, zones, or instances to farm; the fastest techniques to finish the mob and earn your loots; and the best class to do it.

This is not a detailed gold farming guide, but I’ll try to reveal as much as I can. If you just created your character, it is impossible to farm effectively, so go and grab a couple of quests, earning experience, gain several copper or silver, and get your character to level 15.

Once you hit level 15, it is depend on your faction. If you are an Alliance character, go to Defias Windmill, you’ll find it at Gold Coast area in Westfall. There are a lot of Defias mobs around the windmill that drop linen cloth and other good humanoid loot. These mobs are around level 12, so it should be easy to finish them; the spawn rate also pretty high, so you don’t have to worry about running out of mobs to kill.

If you are in Horde faction, you can go to The Barrens and start killing Great Plainstrider. It has pretty high chance to drop Light Feather, which is sold well at the AH. It also have some chance to drop adequate weapons and armors like Native Sash or Fire Wand.

An iron rule in early level farming is always keep your bag empty as much as possible; you can do it by selling all your trash whenever you find a vendor. If by chance you find your bag full and can’t find any vendor nearby, throw away any trash items and keep the one that has higher value.

These are some good farming spots for higher level character:

1. Alterac Mountains in Eastern Kingdoms; kill Elemental Slave here, they have slight chances to drop elemental earth that sell well at the Auction House.

2. Scarlet Monastery Graveyard in Trisfal Glades; look for Unfettered Spirit here, they are easy to kill compared to the other mobs and have fair drops.

3. The Badlands in Eastern Kingdoms; find normal Rock Elemental for lots of grey loots such as Lifeless Stone and Jagged Piece of Stone.

4. Searing Gorge in Eastern Kingdom; kills the elites here and get your Mageweave Cloth.

5. Felwood in Kalimdor; find the Deadwoods as they drop silver, Living Essences, rare herb, and major healing potions.

6. Shalzaru’s Lair at the northern end of the Isle of Dread; get the Nagas here for Golden Pearl drops.

7. Deadwind Pass in Eastern Kingdoms; get Deadwind Ogre Mage for Runecloth drop.

8. Arklon Ruins in Netherstorm, Outland; the Artifac Seeker drops Mark of Sargeras while the Fellblade Doomguard can give you Fel Armament.

9. Dragonblight in Northrend; start from Venomspite and make your way south to the shore while farm every humanoid mobs that you encounter to get gold and various loots.

10. Wintergrasp in Northrend; ready for some challenge? This PvP zone will make farming even more difficult, but you’ll find various Revenant here that drop Crystallized Air, Water, Shadow, Fire, and Earth.

There are a lot of other farming spots that offer you good gold per hour rate; you only need to know what to kill and the fastest method to do so.

600 Gold Per Hour Farming Fish Feasts in WotLK

The Fish Feasts are one of the best cooking buffs, and the most used raid buff given by cooks. You can make a lot of gold just farming the fish needed for the Fish Feast.

But of course you’ll need to know exactly what to fish and where to go, right? Well that’s where this quick guide will come into play.

Requirements

Fishing Skill 400+

Fishing Pole

Lures that give you extra fishing.

(Find Fish, this ability really really helps)

Fish Feasts Materials

1x Northern spice

2x Musselback Sculpin

2x Glacial Salmon

2x Nettlefish

So the idea here is to fish up as many of the fish as possible, then to list them on the Auction House for a huge profit. Some servers may not even have anyone actively farming these, in which case you can make twice as much gold.

Musselback Sculpin

Really the only place worth mentioning is Lake Kum’uya Northeast of Warsong Hold. It has a 90% drop rate, and each node has 3-5 catches in it.

Glacial Salmon

Easily caught in the rivers of Grizzly Hills. It’s easiest to ride or fly along the river that runs north from the east side of Venture Bay then up to the lakes on the north side of the zone.

Nettlefish

Fish up some of the Nettlefish Schools in Sholozar Basin, just follow the rivers and you will find plenty.

In just one hour you can easily catch enough fish for 20 or more fish feasts for yourself. I’ve found that you can easily list the stacks on the Auction House for 20g or more profit.

Farming Gold in WOTLK – The Best Items To Farm in Northrend

Want to start farming gold in WOTLK but don’t know where to start? It can be difficult to make money in a new expansion, since not everyone knows everything about it. You can always stick to farming stuff from other areas. But since Northrend is the newest one, you will want to stay here. Mainly because people will be here too, so they will need items found in this area.

When I wanted to start farming gold in WOTLK, I didn’t know what to go for. Should I kill mobs and loot them, or should I hunt rare mobs and bosses? This has always been a problem in WoW for me.

There are so many things you can do to make gold. But not all of them work in all the areas of the game. It’s like every zone has it’s own way to make gold. Until you find those, you won’t make too much of it.

When it comes to Wrath of the Lich King expansion, I found that certain items sell best. These are crafting resources. These always sell, no matter what type you get. The ones in Northrend sell even better. The easiest to get are the ones you can gather.

Keep an eye out for Saronite, Cobalt and Titanium Ore, these are the Mining resources that are the most valuable. Other materials you should look out for are Icethorn and Lichbloom flowers. These are very sought after because when you gather them, you can get a Frostlotus. A flower used in pretty much every aspect of crafting.

If you want to add to those materials, look for spots that have elemental mobs and farm them for Eternal elements. Look for a spot that is near some Mining nodes and flower spawn points and you will make a lot of money.

If you find a good spot, you can make a lot of gold with two hours of farming each day. You just have to remember to move fast and make the most of the time you have. Don’t worry about your items not getting sold. Because they will, very fast. You can also keep your loot until there aren’t many on the AH and then put them for sale for higher prices. That’s all you need to start farming gold in WOTLK.
